1. Who we are
These terms govern your use of My AI Expert Witness, an information platform at myaiexpertwitness.info operated by Trance Limited, an overseas entity registered with Companies House under the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022 (registration OE025742) and with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO C1894395). References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Trance Limited. By using the platform you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. What this platform is — and is not
My AI Expert Witness provides general information about expert witnesses and the use of expert evidence. We are an information platform only. We do not provide professional advice or personal recommendations, and nothing on the platform is a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified professional. For decisions that matter to you, take your own professional advice before acting.
You may also register your interest in joining our expert-witness register; doing so does not create any contract, retainer or guarantee of work.
3. Using the platform
You must be 18 or over to use the platform. Where the platform offers an account or a form, you agree to provide accurate information, keep any login credentials confidential, and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or withdraw access that breaches these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. No charge
The information service on myaiexpertwitness.info is provided free of charge. We do not take payment from you for it and we do not take, hold or handle any of your money.
5. Information you give us
You retain all rights in the information you submit (for example your contact details and any enquiry or interest you register). You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate the platform and to respond to you. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell your data.
6. Acceptable use
Your use of the platform is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Breaching it may result in immediate suspension.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, including its software, design, branding and content, is owned by the operator and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, scrape or republish it without our written permission.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you take, or do not take, in reliance on information on the platform. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount (if any) you have paid us, which is normally nil. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Some features may use artificial intelligence, which can produce inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information. Always verify anything important before relying on it. See our AI Disclaimer for detail.
10. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that you may bring a claim in your local court if you are a consumer.
